IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GIRLS
| On June
18th, Girls Inc. of Lynn held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new
headquarters at 50 High Street, the site of the first Lynn Shoe School.
In August of 2007, we began renovation of the new facility which will have 28,000 square feet, twice the square footage as
the current site --and will enable Girls Inc. to increase its capacity to
serve more girls in need in a safe, nurturing environment. Last year we
served over 2,100 girls ages 6 to 18.
It's All About The Girls is a $10 million dollar capital campaign. To date, we have raised over $7million dollars--and need your help to raise the remaining $2.4 million dollars.
