Fundance is a summer program for girls ages 6-13.  The program is licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care to serve 100 girls at the main site located at 88 Broad Street and 39 girls at the Washington Elementary School satellite site. The Fundance summer program will run from June 30 through August 29, 2008.  The program is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm.

 

In groups of thirteen, members participate in center based activities including nature’s activities, sports & games, cooking, arts & crafts and hands-on science activities and summer reading.  Members also participate in weekly field trips, theme day celebrations and beach outings.

 

Breakfast and afternoon snack are provided for all members.  Members must bring their own lunch.  Members must also bring sun block, a swimsuit and towel everyday.

 

Transportation to the program is available from several area schools. Transportation from the program to the schools is also available for a fee.  Parents may also drop-off and/or pick-up their daughters at the Center.

 

The cost of the program is $110.00 per week plus one time payment of $25.00 for field trips.   Vouchers are accepted.

 

Registration for Fundance is the 2^nd week of June.  Space is limited.  Registration will be conducted by appointment only.  The registration process includes, completing an application package and determining fee. A deposit of the first and last weeks’ fees is necessary at the time of registration.
